Speaker: Mike West, Deputy Director, Cyberpoint Labs
Abstract: What exactly does malware do when it gets into a system? Figuring that out can be a challenge, espcially if you are not sure what to look for or are short on time. What resources is the malware trying to access? Is it similar to previously analyzed malware? What does it do at run-time? Is it packed (obfuscated) or not? In this talk, we will present an approach to solving this problem —an automated system for reverse engineering malware called DarkPoint.
